Akshay Kumar-Tabu Leave Fans Surprised After Revealing Early Details From Four-Decade Association

Kumar and Tabu reunited after 25 years for the film, Bhooth Bangla, which has been directed by Priyadarshan. The makers of the film launched the trailer on April 6, 2026. It has to be noted that Akshay and Tabu were last seen together in Hera Pheri (2000), in which the actress was paired opposite Suniel Shetty. The duo has worked in a couple of films in their three-decade-long career. But many people don’t know that Akshay and Tabu have been knowing each other for 39 years. At the launch event, Akshay spilt the beans about their four-decade association.

Akshay Kumar Talks About Tabu

At the trailer launch of Bhooth Bangla, Akshay Kumar revealed some early details about his equation with Tabu. For the unversed, the Chandni Bar actress shares a strong bond of friendship with Ajay Devgn since childhood. However, Akshay Kumar revealed that he has been knowing her before entering the film industry. Akshay Kumar said, “I completed 35 years in the industry. But I have been knowing her for 39 years. Tabu and I would learn dance together at a dance class. Many people don't know.” Tabu also revealed that Akshay would pick her up on his bike before going to the dance class.

After learning about the same, the audience and fans present at the event were left surprised. In Bhooth Bangla, Tabu is playing a dynamic role, and the details about the same have not been revealed by the makers yet.

Ekta Kapoor Is All Praise For Akshay Kumar

Ekta Kapoor has co-produced Bhooth Bangla with Akshay. At the launch, she revealed an unknown thing about Akshay Kumar. Before Bhooth Bangla, they worked together on the film Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara. The film didn’t do well at the box office.

Ekta said that Akshay Kumar returned the money he charged for the film after it flopped at the box office. The producer said, “I was shocked. Koi nahin karta. Mere 31 years mein kisne nahin kiya.”
