Speaking to Access Hollywood, Taylor revealed that their lively exchange revolved around the animated film KPop Demon Hunters, which had just won at the ceremony. The revelation delighted fans, many of whom had jokingly speculated that DiCaprio might secretly be a K-pop fan.

“He was talking to me, yes,” Taylor revealed of her co-star. “I want to say we might have been talking about KPop Demon Hunters, because I was so happy when they won, because my kids love KPop Demon Hunters. So I was over there just jamming and I think he caught me jamming and that's when we started talking about it," she added.Taylor, who took home her first Golden Globe that night for Best Supporting Actress, admitted the whirlwind nature of the evening left many moments feeling surreal. She confessed she barely remembers large chunks of the ceremony but does recall bonding with DiCaprio over the film and her children’s love for it. “I do remember jamming so hard when 'Golden' by KPop Demon Hunters came on and we went into this whole spiel about how Junie and Rue love KPop Demon Hunters … but I didn’t know that that whole moment was being captured," Taylor concluded.
