After Shilpa left the show, Shubhangi Atre replaced the actress as Angoori Bhabhi. When Shilpa took an exit, there were a lot of misunderstandings between her and the makers. As she returns for Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0, the actress has revealed why she quit her popular TV show and her iconic character Angoori Bhabhi. Here's what Shilpa said in an interview.

In an interview with Mid-Day, Shilpa revealed some people in the channel tried to cash in on her character's success. The actress was accused of breach of contract by the makers. "At that time, every show except ours had flopped. So, these people wanted to exert control on our show. They tried to gain publicity for the channel through me. They sent me to a TV award ceremony in my character’s outfit! Whether from the channel or other authorities, the bottomline was to control me," she said.Revealing why she left the show and a lesson that she learned, the actress added, "Even after giving everything to the show for a year, I was completely sidelined. A lot of misunderstandings were created. I took this experience as a lesson, it showed me the real [nature] of people. I didn’t have any complaints with my co-stars. There were people claiming that I had left Bhabiji… for another show. No one knew the reality."

Meanwhile, Shilpa has returned to play the iconic character of Angoori Bhabhi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0. The actress' show will air on &TV. She has replaced Shubhangi.
