a fresh development, Sivakarthikeyan Productions has joined hands with Passion Studios to present a new film titled Thaai Kizhavi, starring veteran actress and versatile performer Radikaa Sarathkumar. The announcement has created curiosity, especially with the makers unveiling a teaser establishes the film’s rustic tone and central character, based in a rural setting. The film boasts a strong ensemble cast featuring Singam Puli, Arul Doss, Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, Ilavarasu, George Maryan, Muthukumar and Raichal Rabecca, among others, in key roles. Thaai Kizhavi is written and directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, the music is composed by Nivas Prasanna, whose background score is expected to add value the film’s setting. On the technical front, the film features music by Nivas K Prasanna, cinematography by Vivek Vijayakumar, and editing by San Lokesh. Having produced films such as Kanaa, Vaazhl, Doctor, and Kottukkaali, Thaai Kizhavi marks the another film for Sivakarthikeyan as a presenter, with the first being House Mates, directed by T Raja Vel.On the work front, the release date of the upcoming Tamil film Parasakthi has been changed. The Sudha Kongara film, starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead, is now releasing in theatres on January 10, 2026, four days before its original release date. This means it will clash at the box office with Vijay’s much-anticipated farewell film, Jana Nayagan directed by H Vinoth.
