much-awaited trailer of Bhooth Bangla has been keeping fans on edge, with multiple delays adding to the anticipation of Akshay Kumar fans. So, what are the makers of this horror film planning? Read on to find out.
Bhooth Bangla trailer to arrive on...
The suspense surrounding the trailer launch of Bhooth Bangla has been building for days. Initially slated to release on March 27 and later pushed to March 30, the trailer failed to arrive on both dates, leaving fans curious. According to a fresh report in Bollywood Hungama, the makers are now planning to unveil the trailer on April 6. While there is no official confirmation yet, the team is keen on organising a grand trailer launch event, though details are still being finalised.
The buzz is that while the teaser introduced audiences to the quirky world and characters of the film, the trailer will delve deeper into the plot. It is expected to highlight the film's focus on humour, chaos, and horror element - an area where Akshay Kumar has previously found success with Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Meanwhile, there are several reports that claim the release date of the film has been pushed to April 17 and many believe it is due to the Dhurandhar 2 wave. However, there has been no official announcement regarding this. With this possible shift, promotional strategies have reportedly been reworked. Discussions are currently underway with distributors and exhibitors regarding the possibility of holding paid previews on the evening of April 16. If finalised, the makers are expected to make a major announcement soon!
Runtime of Bhooth Bangla
Another aspect generating interest is the film’s runtime. As per a different report in Bollywood Hungama,
Bhooth Bangla currently stands at approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes (around 170 minutes). However, this may change slightly post the censor certification process. If the runtime remains intact, it will be one of the longest films in Akshay Kumar’s recent filmography. Interestingly, the last time the actor featured in a film of similar length was Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, which also had a runtime of nearly 2 hours and 50 minutes. In the past decade, most of his films have been relatively shorter.
