Some users weren't fully impressed with the film. A social media user posted "Too preachy Intentions were good but the execution was poor Sometimes it felt like "RX100 in the heroine's point of view Performances were overcooked & script was undercooked The old-school scenes & writing made it boring." That insecure control freak not only committed the domestic violence & ruined his wife's life, he also managed to brainwash his kid. Thus ruined a whole another generation "The film also stars Anu Emmanuel. The soundtrack and background score composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. The Girlfriend is streaming on Netflix in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
