revealed its comeback world tour schedule with a list of 34 cities on January 13. While locations like Mexico, Las Vegas, Chicago, Los Angeles, Busan, Tokyo, Madrid, Paris, Singapore, Bangkok, Sydney, Hong Kong and many more places made it to the list, the big question that continues to loom over desi ARMYs is, whether the K-pop group is finally making a pitstop in India. With the band's label HYBE opening up its Mumbai office last year, expectations remained soaring about the final schedule with Indian fans yearning to see their city on the list. So did India make it?
Is BTS coming to India?
BTS, through the social media handles of BigHit Music revealed the tour timeline that runs across months. However, it left the Indian ARMYs a tad disappointed. As of now, India is not part of the schedule. Though the reveal claims that "more cities to be announced in Japan, Middle East and more" one can manifest India to become part of it.
Indian ARMYs react
Indian fans are hopeful as many took to X (formerly Twitter) to react. A user wrote, "WE WILL SEE BTS IN INDIA IN 2027." Another one added, "Bro. My family is planning arranged marriage for me, I thought I'll at least see BTS before my marriage. Why didn't you put India on the list 2027 India please."A post read, "To all My india BTS ARMY why your crying pull back your tears . uk what BTS will come india in 2027 and this gonna be happen. Whoever did not save money get your ass move on work hard and save money stop giving excuses. It is not easy for them too." One comment said, "I am like 100% sure that we are in the list for 2027. Just keep calm."
About BTS tour details
As per the announcement, the tour is set to kick off in April 2026 with multiple shows in Goyang, South Korea. The band will then move to Tokyo, Japan, before returning to South Korea for two shows in Busan in June. They will then embark to North America and perform at places like Tampa, El Paso, Mexico City, Stanford and Las Vegas. The second leg of North American begins in August 2026 and will cover East Rutherford, Toronto, Chicago and Los Angeles. Europe comes next in late June and July 2026. Iver there, cities include Madrid, Brussels, London, Munich and Paris. For Latin America, shows will happen in October 2026 at Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Brazil.Asian shows will happen at the end of 2026 in Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. It will continue in February 2027 with the Australia leg, followed by Hong Kong and the Philippines in March 2027.
BTS comeback album
This is by far BTS' largest-ever world tour, spanning 34 regions and 79 shows across Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America and Australia. The tour is part of their comeback alongside the release of the group's new studio album on March 20, 2026, which is their first full-length group album in nearly four years.
