He shared he had completed the latest schedule of Varanasi and couldn't wait to return to act alongside his co-stars Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithiviraj Sukumaran. Prakash Raj shares Varanasi update after wrapping shoot for Telugu film
Taking to social media, the actor posted, "Wrapped up a wonderful schedule of #Varanasi .. a joy to the hungry actor within me .. thank you @ssrajamouli @urstrulyMahesh @PrithviOfficial @priyankachopra it was exhilarating to work with you all .. can’t wait to resume the next schedule." The names of the characters played by Mahesh Babu, Priyanka, and Prithviraj have been revealed. But Prakash Raj's character and role are still under wraps. He and Rajamouli are working together after a long time.
Whatever it is, the sequences will be a treat to see on the big screen after all this wait. Last month, ahead of
the Globetrotter event to introduce the cast to the public officially, Rajamouli had confirmed that he had been shooting the climax scenes with the three leads. The director's vision requires a lot of post-production and VFX work, and that's why the climax is already being filmed now. The Telugu film is slated to premiere on Sankranti 2027.
