Kher mourned the loss of his Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge co-star Satish Shah, who passed away at the age of 74 due to kidney failure. Satish is survived by his wife, Madhu Shah.

Anupam Kher Pays an Emotional Tribute

Currently in Switzerland, Anupam Kher was left heartbroken upon hearing the news of Satish Shah’s passing. Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account, Kher shared a video expressing his grief.Breaking down in tears, the actor said: “What is happening? In three days, we lost three amazing people. I have known all of them. My smile hides a lot of sorrow. Every time I called him, I would be like: ‘Satish, mere Shah!’ And he would reply, ‘Mere Jahapana!’ I will wear my glasses, I can’t show my tears. He was a great friend of mine. I am currently in Switzerland, sat in a cafe where they shot for DDLJ–I was extremely happy. But when I opened my phone, I read that he is no more. He worked with me in DDLJ. He had a great general knowledge. He would know about everything.”

Satish Shah’s Funeral Details

According to reports, Satish Shah’s mortal remains will be kept for antim darshan at his Bandra residence from 10 am to 11 am. His address is Gurukul - 14 Kalanagar, Bandra (East), near Matoshree, Mumbai. Following this, his remains will be taken to Pawan Hans Crematorium in Vile Parle (West), Mumbai, where the cremation will take place at 12 pm.
