'Ajith Kumar Is A Superstar For A Reason' Says His Valimai Co-Star Huma Qureshi
In an interview with Mid-Day, Huma Qureshi recalled the time she worked with Ajith Kumar for Valimai. Huma Qureshi revealed that she was first called to work on Ajith Kumar's Billa 2, however, the makers went on to make the project without her. 10 years later, Huma Qureshi got the opportunity to work with Ajith Kumar in director H Vinoth's Valimai. Sharing a incident Huma Qureshi said Ajith Kumar walked upto her to apologise for not being able to work with her in Billa 2. said "He is such a gracious and lovely gentleman...He told me "Hey Huma, I had nothing to do with it (in the casting process) I am so sorry." She then said "He is such a lively guy...he didn't need to do that but I think that makes him a superstar."
For the unversed, Huma Qureshi played Sophia, a police officer who helps Arjun (Ajith Kumar) to fulfil his mission. Released in 2022, the film produced by Boney Kapoor under Bayview Projects LLP in association with Zee Studios also featured Karthikeya and Gurbani Judge.

Ajith Kumar, was last seen in Vidaamuyarchi and Good Bad Ugly this year. He is rumoured to be reuniting with director Adhik once again for his project AK64. On the racing front, his team Ajith Kumar Racing participated in 24H Middle East Trophy in Dubai, 24H European Series in Mugello, Spa-Francorchamps, Misano, which sum up to 26 races across two continents and four series this year.
