Homebound

is running for a final nomination at the Oscars 2026. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on December 16, announced shortlists in 12 categories. And Homebound, starring Vishal Jethwa, Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor has made the cut to the list of Best International Feature Film category. Director Neeraj Ghaywan expreesed his happiness soon after his film's name was announced.

We’re deeply grateful for the extraordinary love and support we've received from around the world."Film's producer Karan Johar, who backed it under his Dharma Productions wrote in his Instagram stories, "We made the shortlist!!!!!! Way to go team HOMEBOUND!!!!! You star @neeraj.ghaywen."Fellow filmmaker Rahul Dholakia reacted to his post on X (formerly Twitter), "Congratulations! What an achievement!
