Dhurandhar 2 music rights sold for Rs 60 crore?

Ranveer-starrer Dhurandhar's music was one of its main USPs when it was theatrically released on December 5 last year. While Saregama held music rights for the first installment, the second part's music rights are with Bhushan Kumar's T-Series. According to Variety India, Jio Studios and T-Series cracked one of the most expensive music right deals for Dhurandhar 2.

Sources informed the magazine that Dhurandhar 2's music rights were sold for Rs 50 crore to Rs 60 crore to Bhushan Kumar-owned T-Series. It has turned out to be one of the costliest music rights deals in the history of Bollywood. Shedding light on the shift from Saregama to T-Series, another source added that the previous company's agreement was tied to fixed number of songs used in Dhurandhar's first part.That said, the teaser of Dhurandhar 2 teaser received thunderous response after it was unveiled on social media. While many people are impressed by it, some social media users feel it's recap of the first installment.

Where to watch Dhurandhar 2 on OTT?

Dhurandhar, produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, premiered on Netflix on January 30. While the first installment streamed on it, the second part won't premiere on the same OTT giant. As per Dhurandhar 2's official poster, the spy thriller has locked JioHotstar as its streaming partner. That said, the makers have not confirmed the film's OTT release date yet.
