While interacting with the media, Varun Dhawan mentioned that Salman Khan called him at 2 am and praised his performance in Border 2. The Main Tera Hero actor mentioned that Salman supported him. He got a phone call from the actor at night, and he said that good things are about to come in his life.

Varun said that Salman Khan is very happy for him. The actor revealed, “Salman bhai said, ‘I am proud of you, beta’.” He mentioned that the call came at 2 am. He just stood up on his bed. Dhawan called it one of the most defining moments for him because Salman doesn’t praise people easily. His words gave Varun a lot of confidence.

It has to be noted that Salman Khan and Varun Dhawan share a strong bond of friendship with each other. The Bollywood superstar trained Varun during the initial days of his career. Salman had also made cameo appearances in Varun’s Judwaa 2 and Baby John.
