On this special occasion, let's talk about their love story that feels straight out of a Bollywood film. The couple, now one of Bollywood’s most adored pairs, started their journey in the most cinematic way possible.It all began at an award show when Vicky, during a light-hearted onstage segment, playfully proposed to Katrina. With the song Mujhse Shaadi Karogi playing in the background, Vicky asked, “Why don’t you find a nice boy like me and get married?” That playful moment became the spark that would soon turn into something real.

Soon after, the two met again at a party hosted by Karan Johar, where their friendship slowly grew. Interestingly, even before this meeting, Katrina had mentioned on Koffee With Karan that she’d love to work with Vicky Kaushal. When Karan told Vicky about it in a later episode, he pretended to faint in surprise - a funny reaction that instantly went viral.Their growing connection continued off-screen, too. They later appeared together on Tapecast, where they answered pre-recorded questions instead of being interviewed by a host. Their celebrations included a vibrant sangeet on December 7, a colourful mehendi on December 8, and the wedding on December 9. Katrina looked stunning in a red and gold lehenga, while Vicky looked regal in a golden sherwani. Their fairytale wedding, attended by close friends and family.
