Amitabh Bachchan Reviews Ananya Panday's Performance In Kesari Chapter 2, KBC Host Says THIS

Amitabh Bachchan welcomed Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan on Kaun Banega Crorepati 17. They promoted their upcoming romantic comedy, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, on the popular long-running quiz

show. During the latest episode, a question related to Ananya’s previous film, Kesari Chapter 2, won them big. A question about C Sankaran Nair took them to the next level in the game. Following that, Mr Bachchan complimented Ananya for playing the role of Dilreet Gill with conviction. The veteran actor went on to praise the 27-year-old for delivering intense scenes with subtlety. Ananya was seen with Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan in Kesari Chapter 2.

Mr Bachchan told Ananya on Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, “I told her that the movie had many famous actors; everyone did a great job. While working with such legendary actors, Ananya performed her role very well. Her dialogues were limited, but the way she expressed through her eyes… We are all in the same profession; we are informed three months earlier, let it be about our roles, dialogues, and everything else."

He added, “When it is time for the shoot, it should make our audience realise the importance of the situation or a particular scene. It should be realistic and should be delivered with ease. It is quite a tremendous task. That’s where an actor will turn legendary. I felt that when I watched you."

About Kesari Chapter 2

Kesari Chapter 2 is based on the book The Case That Shook The Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat. It revolves around C Sankaran Nair and Dilreet’s courtroom battle against General Dyer after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Akshay was seen in the role of C Sankaran Nair, whereas R Madhavan played the antagonist in the film directed by Karan Singh Tyagi. Karan Johar's Dharma Productions backed Kesari Chapter 2.
