GTA 6 Scam Links Are Exploding Across The Internet

In a recent development, NordVPN security researchers have issued a warning for all gamers regarding the internet being flooded with malware and scam campaign targeting Windows and Android users with GTA 6 fake installers, non-existent beta keys, and credential-harvesting phishing pages.As per the NordVPN research, the researchers uncovered multiple scam sites pretending to offer exclusive GTA 6 beta keys for PlayStation 5 and Xbox gamers. One of the scam sites even mentioned, 'We need you to help us build Vice City.' One more site suggests

The malware appears to be an NVIDIA graphics driver, but it actually modifies the PC memory, downloads additional malware, and receives further commands from a hacker-controlled server. Furthermore, that's not even the end of the story; NordVPN researchers have also found malware circulating on clone websites of popular game downloading platforms like FitGirl, DODI, and more. And for Android, hackers have deployed fake applications like GTA 6 Beta and some of these apps also appear on Google Search.Nord VPN said in a statement, 'There is no actual game inside. When running, the app silently serves full-screen ads and redirects users to external pages that pressure them into subscribing to paid services or downloading further malware, disguised behind fake human verification steps.'
