The Beatles fans, assemble! While fans have been super excited about The Beatles' four biopics being backed by Sony Pictures, the makers have just sparked curiosity by dropping the first look at The Beatles –
A Four-Film Cinematic Event. In what turns out to be an a clever nod to the fans, Sony Pictures has followed an out of the box marketing strategy by printing four different postcards, each showing one of the lead stars in character. These postcards were esentially put throughout the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts for students to find. Helmed by Sam Mendes, The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event will be releasing in theatres on April 2028 and star Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr.

In a post shared on LIPA Liverpool's official Instagram handle on Friday morning, a revelation about authorities receiving The Beatles postcards, which were later to be hidden by them, and for the students to be found out later - were shared. Harris Dickinson plays John Lennon and is seen channelling his creative energy, while Paul Mescal plays Paul McCartney and is seen exuding his melodic charm. Barry Keoghan is seen channeling Ringo Starr's rhythmic spirit, and Joseph Quinn looks like he's really into playing George Harrison.

Production is already underway on the films, which boast an impressive supporting cast. Saoirse Ronan will play Linda McCartney, while James Norton takes on the role of the Beatles’ influential manager Brian Epstein. Anna Sawai stars as Yoko Ono, Aimee Lou Wood portrays Pattie Boyd, Harry Lloyd appears as famed producer George Martin, and Mia McKenna-Bruce plays Maureen Starkey.

The Beatles' four biopics' leading actors were officially unveiled at CinemaCon last year, where the movie's director Sam Mendes appeared on stage alongside them.The movie's director, Sam Mendes, also appeared on stage with the lead stars. The director addressed the audience and revealed how big the project was. Mendes said, "We're not just making one movie about the Beatles; we're making four." He went on to say that the format lets them go into more detail about each member's story. "Maybe this is a chance to get to know them better."
Sam Mendes, along with Pippa Harris and Julie Pastor, are making the movies for Neal Street Productions.
The Beatles are the best-selling music act of all time, according to the RIAA. This is both a creative challenge and a huge chance for them. When talking about the project's unusual approach, Sony Pictures chairman Tom Rothman admitted the same. He said that the bold idea needed an equally bold release plan, and added that there has never been a movie business like this one before.
