Barkzi has track record of winning reality shows. He was the winner of Roadies Revolution and Splitsvilla 14. After winning two shows, Hamid is now gearing up for The 50. He is one of the fifty contestants on Farah Khan-hosted show. It will premiere on February 1. 2026 on JioHotstar and Colors TV. Ahead of its grand launch, Hamid did an exclusive interview with Zoom. In conversation with us, the former Splitsvilla winner revealed he considers Faisal Shaikh and Divya Agarwal as his tough competitors on The 50. Other than that, Hamid vowed that he wouldn't 'abuse' anyone in the game.
Hamid Barkzi on The 50, his strong competitors
In an exclusive interview with Zoom,
Hamid revealed why he feels Faisal and Divya will be his competitors on The 50. "I think Faisu will be a tough competition, 100%. I feel he is strong. Divya will be a strong competition. So these people will be there, the rest we will see," he admitted.
The 50 contestant further vowed that he wouldn't 'abuse anyone' on the reality show no matter how much someone instigates him. "Because I have a mother and a sister. So if someone abuses me, I will feel very bad. And especially on national television, where I think you are doing a show and they are not even on the show. So I don't want to drag them. And if the other contestants don't do it, it will be good," Hamid added in Hindi.
Hamid Barkzi on his strength and weakness
Continuing the chat, Hamid revealed what are his strength and weakness. The reality show star said, "I think strength will be that when I come to do something, then I don't see anything. I know that if you have given me a task or something, whatever, then I will make sure that I complete it and then come out of it." As far as his weakness is concerned, Hamid said he can't lie but he doesn't consider it as his weak point. He added that lying helps in reality show sometimes but he can't.

While The 50 will be hosted by Farah, the mystery around lion's identity is still not solved. It was earlier reported that Ajay Devgn would be the lion of this show. However, there was no truth to this speculation. That said, one can watch this reality show daily at 9 pm on JioHotstar and on Colors TV at 10:30 pm.
