Hindustan Times is going viral once again ever since the actor has become talk of the town with his powerful performance in Dhurandhar. Khanna was heard calling himself 'not marriage material'. He explained, "I don't see myself getting married. I am not marriage material. I am not cut out for that kind of life. It is a commitment, but a drastic lifestyle change."In another interview with
Bombay Times in 2016, Akshaye spoke about his commitment issues saying, "I'm even more commitment-phobic now. I wasn't like that in the past, but over time, I have become more wary of relationships. It has a lot to do with the fact that I enjoy being alone. I am comfortable in my skin."

Dhurandhar follows the story of Hamza Ali Mazari, a young mysterious man, who joins Rehman Dakait’s gang, but with an ulterior motive. He marries the daughter of an influential Pakistani politician for a reason. It is revealed that Hamza is India’s spy in Pakistan who enters the underworld to leak details of their activities.
Dhurandhar, also starring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi and others, released in theatres on December 5. The second part of
Dhurandhar arrives in theatres on March 19, 2026. The film is directed by Aditya Dhar.
