Dostana 2: Vikrant Massey And Lakshya To Begin Shoot From THIS Month - Report

Dostana 2 has been in the news since last couple of years. Karan Johar's film was to be made with Kartik Aaryan, Lakshya and Janhvi Kapoor. After Kartik's exit from the romantic-comedy, the makers recently

roped in Vikrant Massey for the movie. Earlier, in an exclusive interview with Times Now Group Editor-in-Chief Navika Kumar, Vikrant had confirmed that he is doing Dostana 2. And now, it is being said that the actor will reportedly begin shooting for it with his co-star. As far as Janhvi is concerned, her shooting schedule is apparently not known yet. Vikrant Massey, Lakshya to begin Dostana 2's shoot?

A source close to the development informed Filmfare that Vikrant and Lakshya will begin shooting for Dostana 2 next month. "Vikrant Massey and Lakshya are scheduled to begin filming for Dostana 2 in February. While additional details remain under wraps, their collaboration is expected to be an exciting one."

Talking about doing Dostana 2, Vikrant earlier told Times Now, "I think this news is already out. I don’t know why I’m not talking. I’m doing Dostana 2. I’m doing my first Dharma movie."For the unversed, Lakshya was going to make his Bollywood debut with Dostana 2. However, he later made his acting debut with Kill, where he shared screen space with Raghav Juyal.

Vikrant Massey, Lakshya's work front

On the work front, Vikrant will next be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's O'Romeo. Starring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri in lead roles, the film will release in cinemas on February 13, 2026. He was last seen in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan with Shanaya Kapoor. Lakshya, on the other hand, was last seen in Aryan Khan-directed series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood.
