Amid Krishnavataram’s steady and stable growth at the box office, the actress spoke to Zoom exclusively about playing Satyabhama and educating the audience about her lesser-known story. Sanskruti further opened up about getting emotional at the Dwarkadhish Temple. The overwhelming moment was captured, and the video went viral on social media.
Sanskruti Jayana on an emotionally overwhelming visit to Dwarkadhish temple
In an exclusive interview with
Zoom,
Sanskruti revealed, “I was deep into Satyabhama’s world that it was difficult to step out of it. To be able to tell her story was a massive responsibility. People know stories of Krishna, Radha and Rukmini, but she was also one of the Ashtabharya (eight queens) of Krishna. Each kind of love is beautiful, even though this one was flawed and eventually became unconditional. Her story is special.”
Sanskruti Jayana's words of gratitude
Talking about getting emotional at the temple, Jayana added, “When I went to
Dwarkadhish Temple, it was an otherworldly experience for me. I was a spiritual and religious person, but not that much. During this process, I became all of them because I lived an experience that was beyond everything. When I went to
Satyabhama’s temple, I thanked her for choosing me to play her. I prayed that we do justice to the story. That was it. That was something I can never express in words.”
