Kunickaa Sadanand DEFENDS Pranit More Amid Rs 370 Biryani Row; Calls Him ‘Good Boy With Right Values’

Sadanand, who shares a strong bond of friendship with Pranit More since Bigg Boss 19, has come out in support of the stand-up comedian amid the backlash over his Gurugram show. Pranit issued his first video statement on Instagram after he was slammed for encouraging a derogatory statement by the audience member during his stand-up show. The Maharashtra Cyber Police have already registered an FIR against More, Himanshu Jangra, for making an objectionable comment about expecting sexual favours from a girl in exchange for Rs 370 biryani. Dr Sejal Pawar also received backlash for her comment on male cadavers’ private parts.

Kunickaa Sadanand Reacts To Pranit More’s Apology

Pranit More shared a video of himself in which he issued a statement after getting into trouble due to the Rs 370 biryani controversy. The video is going viral on social media and netizens have started reacting to the same. Kunickaa Sadanand, who stayed with Pranit More in the Bigg Boss 19 house for more than 90 days, said that he is a very good boy who has the right values.

Kunickaa Sadanand mentioned in the comments that everyone makes mistakes, but only a few of them have the courage to own it. She feels Pranit is one of them. She stated, “Pranit, you are a good boy with right values, but as I always said, roasting or crowd work can carry you away, especially as an entertainer, when you see people reacting and laughing.” (sic)

Apart from that, the Hum Saath Saath Hain actress also wrote that she hopes people forgive him and change their attitudes towards women or girls. She confessed, “You were not the cause of a generational mindset; you were one of the many who inherited this mindset from generations of objectification.” (sic) Kunickaa has given blessings to the comedian and hopes that he will make a strong comeback with brilliant content.

What Did Pranit More Say In His Video Statement?

Pranit More confessed that he deserves hate for not stopping Himanshu Jangra from making derogatory remarks on the show. He is cooperating with authorities related to legal matters. He has apologised for hurting sentiments unintentionally. After the video went viral, Himanshu Jangra was sacked from his job for passing derogatory remarks about a girl, who was five years elder to her. On the other hand, Dr Sejal Pawar was slammed by her college, KEM Hospital, for passing such insensitive remarks about deceased men.
