Alia
Bhatt has a lot on her plate. The 32-year-old, who's currently handsful with Yash Raj Film's Alpha, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War, is already gearing up for her new project, touted to be with Abhishek Pathak. The film titled Housewife is the first collab between the actress and the Drishyam 2 director, and claimed to be a high-concept relationship drama. Rajkummar Rao is reportedly being considered to play the male lead. The film is already being seen as a departure for Alia, who turns YRF Spy Universe's first woman spy on one hand, and on the other, she stars opposite husband Ranbir Kapoor and Raazi co-star Vicky Kaushal in SLB's intense period romance.
Alia Bhatt part of Abhishek Pathak's Housewife?
According to a report by Variety India on February 4, Alia's project with Abhishek Pathak will have her playing the character of a housewife. The report called the new project, "a topical narrative centred around a married couple." Rajkummar Rao is in negotiations and seems to be interested, though he hasn't come onboard officially. If he does give a nod, this would mark his first movie with Alia.
