Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, the film will soon stream on Netflix. On February 3, the streaming platform unveiled an intriguing glimpse of the movie on social media. It offers a sneak peek into the world of Ikka, where Sunny plays the role of a lawyer. Apart from him and Akshaye, the film stars Dia Mirza, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Tilottama Shome, and others. The first glimpse of Ikka opens with Sunny's introduction as lawyer. It is followed by Akshaye walking into the courtroom. After the introduction of other characters, the glimpse highlights a scene where Sunny slaps Akshaye. The streaming giant shared it on YouTube and across it social media handles.

While the makers revealed Ikka's first glimpse, the release date hasn't been revealed yet. According to the makers, the film revolves around the life of a lawyer who is arm-twisted into a defending a murder accused. He is forced to defend the man whose past with him and his wife hold painful memories.In an official team, team Ikka expressed excitement about delivering the film on Netflix. "Brace for a relentless thriller packed with emotional depth, a father’s unyielding quest to shield his family, even at the cost of his principles, in a deal with the devil. Ideological clashes fuel this high-octane battle from the word go till the last frame with twists and turns galore," they said.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sunny has an exciting lineup of films ahead. This year, the actor will be seen in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana: Part 1, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi. Apart from that, he has Rajkumar Santoshi's Lahore 1947 and Jaat 2 lined up. After Ramayana Part 1, Sunny will be seen reprising the role of Lord Hanuman in Ramayana: Part 2.As far as Akshaye Khanna is concerned, the actor was last seen in Dhurandhar with Ranveer Singh. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie was theatrically released in December. He essayed the character of Rehman Dakait in spy thriller.
