in Paris is ready to say goodbye! The star of the Netflix series, Lily Collins, officially announced that the next season would be its last one. The actress also promised that the show would bring viewers everything they loved about the show. While the show is ready to say au revoir, there is still much to look forward to as the show will travel to other countries in Europe for its final season. Last season, much of the Netflix series moved to Italy as Agence Grateau opened a new branch in Rome. However, Emily Cooper (Collins) returned back to the City of Light. Emily in Paris to end with Season 6
On social media, Collins shared a personal message with fans who have come to love her portrayal as American marketing executive in Paris. She announced that the sixth season will be the final chapter in Emily's adventure of a lifetime with a video that shared several BTS moments from previous seasons. Creator and writer Darren Star went on to say that making the show with the extraordinary cast and crew had been a trip of a lifetime for her. Thanking the fans for being part of the incredible journey, he stated that the team couldn't wait to share the last chapter with them.
Star said that viewers would always have Emily in Paris. He added, "Thank you for letting us be a part of your lives, inspiring your dreams of travel and your love of Paris." The first stop for Emily's last season is Greece. The streaming service shared a few pics of Star and Collins on location in Greece. The show will also feature some seque
nces in Monaco before returning to home base, which is Paris.
What happened in Emily in Paris Season 5?
The
last season saw Emily try out a bit of the
dolce vita in Rome. She had a brief romance with Italian cashmere heir Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini) before ending things and returning to Paris. Emily’s best friend, Mindy (Ashley Park), is now engaged to French fashion heir, Nicolas de Léon (Paul Forman). However, she is hiding her summer fling with Alfie (Lucien Laviscount).
And of course, there's Emily's former beau Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), who is on a yacht working for a billionaire in Greece and sent a postcard asking her to meet him there. Who will Emily and Mindy end up with in the end? Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu's Sylvie Grateau, Samuel Arnold's Julien, Bruno Gouery's Luc and William Abadie's Antoine Lambert are also set to return for the final season on Netflix.
