Filmmaker Aditya Dhar is currently busy celebrating the moment of success after the fans give a solid response to Dhurandhar The Revenge at the box office. Aditya doesn’t consider Dhurandhar 2 to only belong to him. He believes that his team also deserves a round of applause for making what Dhurandhar is right now. He recently took to his X handle and penned a long note for the cinematographer of Dhurandhar, Vikash Nowlakha, and called him the ‘eye’ and ‘soul’ of the film.
Aditya Dhar Is All Praise For Dhurandhar 2 Cinematographer
In the note shared on X, Aditya Dhar mentioned that Vikash Nowlakha is the last person who came on board for Dhurandhar 2. He revealed that just a few days before starting the shooting of the film, Vikash joined the team. He feels like his onboarding is like destiny quietly stepping in at the right moment. While mentioning the comment from Vikash Nowlakha after reading the Dhurandhar script, Aditya said, “I still remember what he said after reading the script, 'I’ve waited 30 years to do a film like this. I’ll give my life to it.' And he meant every word.”
Aditya Dhar also mentioned that he faced a lot of challenges while shooting for the film. In fact, he was directing two films in the time and cost of one. According to the filmmaker, Vikash literally carried the weight on his shoulders and shot the film in difficult conditions. Dhar further stated that every frame in Dhurandhar breathes because Vikas Nowlakha allowed it to. He gave the moments life. Aditya Dhar concluded his note by expressing gratitude toward Vikash for being an integral yet important part of the Dhurandhar franchise.
