After
years of failed attempts and endless development rumours, Escape From New York is finally making its return to the big screen, with Zack Snyder leading the charge. The filmmaker behind 300 and Zack Snyder’s Justice League has officially signed on to write and direct the cult classic reboot. Now, Snyder is reportedly aiming for a rawer, more practical approach to the new adaptation, stepping away from glossy superhero visuals in favour of grounded action and intense survival storytelling.
