no release in 2025, the Netflix series Bridgerton is back in 2026 with Season 4. The first part of the fourth season will be released on January 29, 2026, and the second part will conclude on February 26, 2026. Author Julia Quinn teased a bit of the new season at a book festival panel. Quinn also revealed why a certain character in Bridgerton would never get a prequel story.
Julia Quinn shares why this Bridgerton character won't have a prequel
Speaking at the Boston Book Festival last week, Quinn spoke about the Netflix series. She praised the show produced by Shonda Rhimes for making Queen Charlotte a bigger character in the show than in the books. According to a report in Boston.com, the author shared, "Queen Charlotte is just such a great connector for the seasons, and such a great way of turning all the seasons into this great, cohesive series."Bridgerton Season 4 to feature a disable character
Quinn's panel also revealed a hint about a Season 4 character. She shared that the new season is to feature a character with a limb difference.
