In a video shared by Varun himself on Instagram, Samay is seen telling him that he should make good songs if they want them to work and not resort to making reels and other promotional techniques. The clip went viral in no time and several celebrties commented as well.

The plan, however, did not go as Varun expected.Samay, in his own sarcastic way, had his own take on the song promotion. As Varun started singing, Samay jokingly responded, "Bro, this way it won't work." When Varun asked why, Samay quickly added, "If it's a good song, it'll work." The candid exchange left Varun amused, who said, "Oh I thought it will only work this way." Varun, to his credit, took the roast like a complete sport.
