Suriya 46 Plot Revealed! Naga Vamsi Shares OFFICIAL Genre Of Suriya, Mamitha Baiju's Film

Suriya 46, starring Suriya in the lead and directed by Venky Atluri is one of the most-awaited films of the season. Apart from the official pooja ceremony, and details of the crew, not much has been revealed

by the makers. Now, the film's producer, Naga Vamsi has shared some inside information about the film. He went on to reveal the film's plot and story, much to the delight of fans. As per the producer, the film will depict a genre that will please fans of the actor. Here's what you need to know about Suriya 46, which also stars Mamitha Baiju and Raveena Tandon in key roles.

Suriya 46: Naga Vamsi Shares Plot Of Suriya's Film

Talking to Gulte, Naga Vamsi said "The film explores relationships, love and emotions between a 45-year-old man (Suriya) and a 20-year-old woman (Mamitha Baiju)." Naga Vamsi also said Suriya's plays a wealthy character, and compared his role to 2005 blockbuster Ghajini. Announcing the project, the makers shared a poster which read "The first step towards celebration, emotion and entertainment #Suriya46 shoot begins!".. Speaking about the film's genre, Venky previously revealed "Suriya 46 will be a proper happy family film, with a very good human emotion."

In a media interaction, the film's music composer GV Prakash said “The film is a family entertainer. It is being made very well. It will be made in a way that will give an experience like Ala Vaikunthapuram Lo."

The film also stars Bhavani Sre, Radikaa Sarathkumar. On the technical front , GV Prakash is reuniting with Venky Atluri for the third time after Vaathi (2023) and Lucky Baskhar (2024). This is also the composer's second film with Suriya after Soorarai Pottru (2020). The technical crew also includes editor Navin Nooli and cinematographer Nimish Ravi. Suriya 46 is scheduled to be released in theatres during the summer of 2026.Suriya is expected to complete shooting for Suriya 46 before starting beginning work on Jithu Madhavan's film Suriya 47.
