Varun
Dhawan recently released the first look of his upcoming film, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, on social media. He introduced Mrunal Thakur, Pooja Hegde and his characters from the David Dhawan-directed film in a short clip. However, the actor recently landed in trouble after an influencer claimed that Varun Dhawan is demanding fake reviews from influencers with the help of people for Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’s first look. Her video went viral on social media, and now the actor himself has reacted to the same strongly in the comments section.
Varun Dhawan Reacts To Influencer’s Claims
An Instagram influencer named Simran Bhat posted a reel earlier this afternoon in which she accused Varun Dhawan of faking reviews for Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’s first look. In the video, she revealed that two individuals approached her at the metro station for a review. According to her, they insisted on her review even though she hadn't watched the teaser.
The influencer further mentioned that when she told them about not watching it, they told her to say what they were asking. When she questioned them about it, the girl insisted she watch it then. Eventually, the influencer told her that she was getting late. However, the girl rudely asked her to leave.
Disappointed by the approach, Simran Bhat said, “I was like, bhai, Varun Dhawan ke itne bure din aagaye kya ki usko fake reviews lene pad rahe hai? (Is Varun Dhawan going through such bad times that he needs to fake reviews?) What the hell?” Now, the reel is going viral on social media and grabbed Varun Dhawan’s attention. He commented on it by stating, “Hope you get the views you really want with this video (claps emoji).” Simran got upset and responded to his comment by saying, “@varundvn Sir with due respect I don't need to do these kinds of things for views. I already am satisfied with my numbers…”
She even re-shared the comment on her Instagram stories and wrote, “With due respect, I'm already getting good views, and Tbh I'm satisfied with my numbers.” She also asked Varun to check with his PR team since she feels they are ruining his image.
