Khan recently got angry at the paparazzi while exiting Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. The Bollywood superstar, who always poses for the shutterbugs, looked visibly upset that day. He lost his cool at the photographers and asked if they had lost their minds. A day after the incident, Salman attended the success bash of Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh's Raja Shivaji. The paps apologised to the superstar, and he let bygones be bygones. Now, the actor's Maine Pyar Kiya co-star Bhagyashree has reacted to his outburst on the paps.
Bhagyashree defends Salman Khan
At an event, Bhagyashree was asked about Salman Khan's angry reaction to the paparazzi. To this, the Bollywood actress said in Hindi, "I would say that you guys do your job, but please don't forget that we are also humans. There is an equal relationship between the media and the artist."
She added that paparazzi and artists need to respect each other, especially during tender and difficult times. The
Maine Pyar Kiya actress mentioned that when a person is in pain of stress, they want to be by themselves. "So I think that point has to be respected," she added.
Salman Khan on losing cool at paparazzi
After calling out the paparazzi, Salman shared a series of Instagram posts and spoke about the incident. In his first post, the Bollywood actor wrote, "If I see any press at a hospital enjoying my pain.The press that I have stood for interacted with taken care made sure that they also earn their bread n butter." He further recalled paps asking about his film
Maatrubhumi and wondered if the movie was important than someone's life.
In another post, Salman said that even at the age of 60, he hasn't forgotten how to fight. He ended by the note by stating, "Jail mein dalo ge haaa haaa."
Salman Khan's work front
On the work front, Salman will next be seen in
Maatrubhumi. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film was previously titled Battle of Galwan. Co-starring Chitrangada Singh, the movie was supposed to release in April this year. However, its theatrical release has been postponed. Apart from this, the Bollywood superstar has teamed up with director Vamshi Paidipally's
SVC63. He will be seen sharing screen space with Nayanthara. Produced by Dil Raju, the film is set to arrive in cinemas on Eid 2027. On the other hand, Bhagyashree was last seen in
Raja Shivaji.
