In an interview with Pinkvilla, Madalsa Sharma confessed that she received a lot of love from the masses for her character, Kavya. The actress said, “I got many film and web series offers. Due to my commitment to a TV show, I couldn't do any other shows. I did it for four years, and after five years, Anupamaa is still number 1. So, we were lucky. I thought I was not losing so much. I was getting a beautiful response from the audience for my character, Kavya.” When asked about the reason behind quitting Anupamaa, Madalsa Sharma said, “Well, after 4 years, you have seen this story. Our makers, the writers, Rajan sir, everybody – they are excellent when it comes to storytelling. While elaborating about her decision to quit Anupamaa, Mithun Chakraborty’s daughter-in-law said, “In the past, the show had a 2-year leap, a 1-year leap, and a 6-month leap. After 15 years, your look will change, everything about you will change, and the dynamics around you will change completely. So then Rajan sir and I mutually decided.
