The actress did not hold herself back while calling out trolls, who happen to be fans of Tanya. She received support from the Bigg Boss 19 rebel group fans on X. Reacting to being trolled by Tanya’s fans, Kunickaa requested her admirers not to stoop low to criticise another person. Appealing not to ‘downgrade’ themselves, she questioned the upbringing of those who trolled her on social media. When Mittal’s fan accused her of retweeting ‘Anti-Tanya tweets’ and playing the ‘victim card’, Kunickaa warned the fan not to provoke her. She clarified that she never spoke against Tanya in interviews, whereas she has been projecting her in a bad light post-exiting Bigg Boss 19. Questioning her existence and popularity before the show, Kunickaa claimed Tanya played mind games and backstabbed her, Farrhana, Amaal Mallik, Neelam Giri and Zeeshan Quadri.

Calling her sanskaari (cultured/spiritual) conduct ‘pretentious’, Kunickaa claimed Tanya wants to be in the limelight and is ‘very smart’ with her approach. When a troll used abusive language against her in a tweet, she warned them of legal action.

Calling her dramatic, the veteran actress said she made a scene of that closed chapter outside the house. Kunickaa and Tanya shared a strong bond on Bigg Boss 19 until the episode aired on September 9, 2025.

Tanya also clarified that she never said Kunickaa became the captain because of her. She questioned her for celebrating the win even when she wasn’t happy about getting the privilege.
