Famous Telugu actor Jr NTR quickly went to X (formerly Twitter) to congratulate all the winners from the bottom of his heart. Jr. NTR sent Mammootty a special note to say congratulations on winning the Padma Bhushan. He called him "mammukka." "Congratulations to @mammukka sir on getting the Padma Bhushan for inspiring generations through decades of great work." He also praised R. Madhavan for winning the Padma Shri award, saying that it was a well-deserved honour for all of his work in Indian cinema.
Prithviraj Sukumaran shared a picture of Mammootty on his Instagram Story and wrote Padma Bhushan and added a crown emoji. Next, he went on to write that Mammootty's honour is "Well deserved and much delayed."
