Shannen Doherty’s ex-husband challenges divorce settlement
According to a report in
People, Iswarienko filed legal documents in Los Angeles Superior Court last week, challenging the divorce settlement, nearly two years after the death of Doherty. The late actress had signed the divorce settlement on July 12, 2024, while he signed on July 13. However, Iswarienko argued that the divorce settlement was taken to the wrong court and also claims the court has no jurisdiction to enforce the terms of the agreement due to the error.
The photographer, whose recent subjects have been stars like Tessa Thompson and Glen Power, also further stated that the divorce case should have ended after Doherty's death. The actress’s legal team and trustee of her family trust claim that Iswarienko failed to uphold the "monetary obligations" and other provisions of the 2024 settlement. In November 2025, Doherty's lawyers filed documents that revealed that Iswarienko had yet to sell her $1.5 million Texas house. The proceeds of the sale were to be divided equally in her estate. He was also supposed to buy out Doherty's share of general aviation aircraft for $100,000 and return the amount to the estate within five business days of the estate. The court documents allege that he “unilaterally withheld $50,274” from her estate after the sale in August 2024 and hasn't paid the money yet. Furthermore, Iswarienko has also “refused to return items of personal property,” including Doherty's photographs.
