More About Fauzi
Fauzi marks Prabhas’ return to a grand period-action space, a genre that previously brought him massive success. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers - the force behind Allu Arjun's Pushpa and hits such as Dear Comrade and Uppena - the film is being mounted on a large scale and is being described as one of the studio’s most ambitious ventures.
Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, nearly 80 percent of the film’s shooting has already been completed. The film is expected to release later this year, with a tentative window between October and the Christmas season, although the recent developments may impact the timeline. Director Hanu Raghavapudi has previously revealed that the story will unfold across two parts, showing different dimensions of the protagonist’s journey. "There's abundant material from our colonial past, stories that ended tragically but could've been fairy tales in another reality. I've also woven in a few real-life experiences that inspired me personally," said the director.
