a day after celebrating his 75th birthday, superstar Rajinikanth along with his family members visited the Tirumala Tirupati temple to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara. A video shared online shows him and his family visiting the premises in the early hours of Saturday, 13 December.

In the clip, the actor is seen entering the temple alongside his wife Latha and daughters Soundarya and Aishwarya. His grandson, Yatra Raja, (children of Dhanush and Aishwaryaa) was also seen by his side. Temple authorities gently guided and assisted the superstar as the family made their way out of the temple premises.

Rajinikanth and his family also posed for photographs, and the actor waved at fans who had gathered for a glimpse, greeting them with his humility. On the occasion of his 75th, Rajinikanth’s 1999 blockbuster Padayappa returned to theatres in a newly remastered 4K version, which also marked his 50 years in cinema. Fans embraced the re-release like a celebration, reliving the film’s gripping moments, unforgettable dialogues and characters that continue to hold a special place in the hearts of Tamil cinema fans.The actor will be seen next in Jailer 2. The film will be wrapped up sometime in December and is likely to hit theatres in the summer of 2026.
