With the show just round the corner, its lead actor, Namik Paul, recently spoke with us in an exclusive interview about the show's new and upcoming storyline. During the interview, he took his moment to speak about Mouni Roy, calling her 'OG Naagin' while speaking about his excitement on joining the fan-favourite show. He further called her 'stunning and talented' and also gave praises to another new actress playing the title role, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary.

While talking to us on TellyTalkIndia/Zoom, Namik Paul expressed, "Mouni Roy is the OG and I think she has played a huge part. I don't think so Indian television industry me itna lamba koi franchise raha hai. There have been shows that were run for many, many years, but this is one of the defining franchises, and she has started this. When Eisha Singh spoke about her role in the show

Earlier in an exclusive conversation, Eisha Singh gave a sneak peek into her character in Naagin 7. While she didn’t share much about it, the former Bigg Boss 18 contestant said, “I am happy to be a part of the Naagin franchise. My character's name is Ananta. It is a very different character.” She also praised Mouni Roy while recalling their interaction. She shared, “I met her and she was like congratulations. Maine kaha thank you and I was just telling her the same thing, ki I really loved you. Poora season nahi (dekha), but of course har kisi ko pata tha us time par (about Mouni's Naagin). I appreciated her, she appreciated me, so it was a beautiful energy exchange.”She also spoke about her bond with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. Eisha stated that she has found a good friend in Priyanka while working on the sets of Naagin 7.
