Produced by Westworld's Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, Fallout Season 2 is releasing on Amazon Prime Video on December 17. The dystopian thriller is based on the popular video game by Interplay Productions,
and the new season will take its characters Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell), The Ghoul (Walton Goggins), and Maximus (Aaron Moten) and send them out on a gory and gritty mission in New Vegas overseen by Robert House, played by Justin Theroux.

The official account of Fallout released the trailer on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "Let the end times roll. Cue the official trailer now, and Season Two premiere on December 17." The lengthy trailer reveals quite a bit about new locations, conflicts, and characters in Season 2. Besides Theroux's Robert House, which had been teased earlier by the streamer, the new trailer gives fans the first looks at the characters played by Kumail Nanjiani and Macaulay Culkin.

The trailer also shows that the rest of the Vault dwellers also venture out from the underground to check out what's afoot aboveground.The video game adaptation is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them above.
