When Tarun was asked which actors would he cast if he ever made
Dostana 2, the filmmaker told us, "Well, firstly, hypothetically, if I would be making it again, I think I wouldn't ever replace Sam, Kunal and Neha. For me, that's it's not a title. It's not a theme. It's not anything. For me, it's that friendship. I wouldn't want to change any of them."The actor further recalled working with Abhishek, Priyanka and John who play Sam, Neha and Kunal. Sharing his fond memories of collaborating with them, Tarun added, "I think the fondness of the fact was that not only did they actually have the camaraderie amongst themselves that I wanted for the film, but each one was actually, and is even today, so different from each other, even as an actor and as a human being."
