The
recently released Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna has grossed more than Rs 750 crore on the 29th day of the release. Now, as per new reports, Khanna had an amazing start as well as end to the year 2025. Led by Vicky Kaushal, Chhaava had Akshaye Khanna as Mughal emperor Aurangzeb which had a global success of Rs 809 crore becoming one of the highest grossing starters of India. And now, Dhurandhar's gross profit made worldwide has now come to Rs 1167 crore.
Akshaye Khanna success is unstoppable
Akshaye Khanna has been making headlines since the success of two of his global hit this year. With Chhaava and Dhurandhar being two of the major 2025 hits, the actor has become the second Bollywood star to cross a total of Rs 2000 crore within a single calendar year after Shah Rukh Khan. For the unversed, earlier in 2023, SRK had a total of Rs 2685 crore grossing with his three back-to-back films Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki.
Dhurandhar box office collection
Dhurandhar boasts a powerful cast featuring Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and others in key roles, which has significantly contributed to its mass appeal. As per the early estimates of box office report of the film, Aditya Dhar had a total earning of Rs 755 crore up until 5th Saturday with an average occupancy rate of 23.76% in Hindi occupancy. Earlier on January 1, a buzz surfaced across social media where the film made headlines to
release the revised versions. As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, cinema halls across India received an urgent email from distributors on December 31, 2025, instructing them to replace the film’s Digital Cinema Package (DCP). A source told the publication, “The reason for the change is that the makers have muted two words and changed a dialogue in the film, as per the directives received from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of India.” Stay tuned for more updates!
