Mukerji’s Mardaani 3 has a new release date. Instead of February 27, the crime thriller produced by Yash Raj Films is arriving in theatres almost a month earlier. The makers of the movie announced its new release date. Mardaani 3 has been preponed to January 30. A fresh poster, featuring Rani with a bunch of girls, was unveiled socially today (January 10). Abhiraj Minawala steps in as the director. The antagonist hasn’t been revealed yet. The first part of the franchise released in 2014. Five years later, Mardaani 2 took the spotlight. In 2026, the third installment is set to tell another haunting story.

Mardaani 3 to release on January 30

Sharing the new poster, YRF wrote on Instagram, “She won’t stop, until she rescues them all! #RaniMukerji is back as the fearless cop Shivani Shivaji Roy in #Mardaani3. Rescue begins in cinemas near you on 30th Jan.” The poster indicates the film will revolve around the mysterious missing of young girls.

In an official statement, Rani shared, "I'm proud to essay the character of this feisty cop again in Mardaani 3 as a tribute to all the unsung, brave, self-sacrificing cops who work tirelessly every single day to keep us safe."Talking about Mardaani 3, Mukerji shared, “When we set out to make Mardaani 3, we were hoping that we find a script that would take the experience of watching a Mardaani franchise film higher,” she said, adding, “Mardaani is an extremely loved franchise, and we have a certain responsibility to deliver to the expectation that people have. We will do our best to live up to this. Mardaani 3 is dark, deadly and brutal. So, I’m intrigued to find out the response of the people towards our film. I hope they shower this film with the same amount of love that they have always given.”
