detoriorated further and she was admitted to a hospital. However, Sraboni breathed her last on Monday morning at around 9am.As per vernacular media, the actress' son Achyuta Adarsha had appealed for financial help on social media for his mother's treatment owing to huge expenses. Meanwhile, taking to Facebook on September 7, the youngster had shared a long, poignant post speaking about the burden of cancer and how children are taught to see their mothers as invincible, but how the disease strips away everything, leaving behind reality. "We are taught to see our mothers as invincible, the unshakable pillars of our existence. But when illness strips away that illusion, we are confronted with something even greater—their humanity, their resilience, their unwavering spirit even in fragility," he had shared.

The youngster even spoke about his mother's first chemotherapy session writing, "Today, as my mother completed her first chemotherapy session, I saw not defeat, but victory. Her tired smile carried the fire of survival. Her journey is no longer only about fighting cancer—it is about redefining what it means to live, to transform pain into purpose, to turn suffering into strength."Speaking to Aajkal, director Babu Banik said everyone is stunned by the actress' death. Nothing that they were friends for a long time, he revealed she was suffering a lot during her last days and have been away from work for a long time. He also revealed the actress' last rites will be performed at Nimtala crematorium today itself.The director further took to Facebook to mourn the actress through a post, writing that while some relationships are formed through work, when those relationships transcends all expectations, conditions, and self-interest, they bind two families together with an invisible thread, that is perhaps what true friendship is. He went on to add that having lost Sraboni, he and his family, are left speechless. While he admitted that no one lives forever, but could not come to terms with the actress leaving them so soon. Stating that he has heard that the soul is immortal, he prayed for the peace of the actress’ soul.Notably, actress Sraboni Banik has earned the love of the audience through her skillful performances in serials like Jahanara, Lalkuthi, Ranga Bou, Godhuli Alap, and Sohag Chand.
