Dharmendra's
death has left a void in everyone's hearts. Known as Bollywood's He-Man, the legendary actor died on November 24, 2025. He was 89. Celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and others paid last respects to the veteran actor. Other celebrities, too, mourned his death and shared their fond memories of him. Taha Shah Badussha, last seen in Heeramandi, also recalled watching Dharmendra's films as a child.

In a statement, Taha stated that Dharmendra was an 'iconic figure' in his childhood. The actor further revealed that he has been watching his films since he was six. "There was one movie where he stopped bullets with his bare hands, I was completely blown away. He even held down two planes with sheer brute strength. As a child, I was truly in awe of this strong and magnificent man. In many ways, he has always been an inspiration to me," he said.The
Heeramandi actor admitted it was only when he turned 11 or 12 when he understood that whatever he saw on-screen wasn't real. He eventually learned about the veteran actor's incredible contribution to the Indian cinema.

Heeramandi. The series, co-starring Aditi Rao Hydari, Manisha Koirala, Sharmin Sehgal and more, premiered on Netflix in 2024. The actor was widely praised for playing the role of Tajdar Baloch in the epic period drama.
