Prabhu Reunites With Puli Co-Star TN CM Vijay; Vikram Prabhu, Adhik Ravichander Join Him

Prabhu,

his son, actor Vikram Prabhu, and his son-in-law, Adhik Ravichander, met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay and shared a special moment with him. The meeting marked a reunion between Prabhu and Vijay, who had previously worked together in films such as Puli and Theri. Vikram Prabhu and Adhik Ravichander also joined the meeting and appeared to express their admiration for the TVK chief. The three called on Vijay and conveyed their best wishes for his tenure as Chief Minister. Their visit adds to a list of filmmakers, actors, and industry members who have met Vijay since he took oath and assumed the state's office.

Images Adhik Ravichandran, who is married to Prabhu's daughter Aishwarya Prabhu, and actor Vikram Prabhu have also been shared on social media. This is Prabhu's first meeting with Vijay after he became chief minister.

While casting his vote in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections earlier in April, Prabhu spoke about this long-standing connection with cinema and politics. He said, "As far as Tamil Nadu is concerned from those days, from Mr MGR (actor and former TN Chief Minister MG Ramachandran), from Mr Kalaignar (writer and former TN Chief Minister M Karunanidhi), from Mr Sivaji (Ganesan), my father—all of them have been in (politics). So it's a part and parcel of Tamil Nadu."

The Prabhu family's visit follows a series of meetings between Vijay and several prominent figures from the Tamil film industry. Veteran actors Parthiban and MS Bhaskar recently met the Chief Minister and conveyed their wishes. While MS Bhaskar presented Vijay with a bouquet, Parthiban gifted him a framed photograph depicting Vijay as an emperor.

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who worked with Vijay in Leo, also visited him. Directors A.R. Murugadoss and Venkat Prabhu were among those who called on the Chief Minister, with Venkat Prabhu presenting a special number plate reading "TN-07-CM-2026" as a symbolic gesture. Actors Arjun, Shanthnu, RJ Balaji, and Vijay Antony have also met Vijay in recent weeks. Industry bodies including the Tamil Film Producers Council and the Tamil Film Active Producers Association have paid visits.

On the professional front, Vikram Prabhu was last seen in Sirai. He is currently working on an untitled film directed by debutant Siddharth and backed by producer Raahul, known for distributing The Greatest of All Time and Good Bad Ugly. Meanwhile, Adhik Ravichandran is busy with pre-production work on AK64, which is yet to begin filming.
