idol-turned-actress Im Jin-Ah aka Nana's home intrusion case has taken a new turn. The man accused of breaking-in the former girl group After School member's house has outrightly denied the charges against him that he carried a bladed weapon during the incident. Nana faced a home intrusion on November 15, 2025, when the suspect allegedly climbed into the 34-year-old's home with a weapon and threatened her and her mother, causing injuries to both before they subdued him and called police. The alleged attacker had filed a counter lawsuit while she was fighting an emotionally difficult time, Nana revealed in a letter to fans recently.
Changers against intruder
On January 20, Korean media reported that the prosecution revealed charges against the intruder. It stated, "On November 15 last year, Mr.Kim broke into Nana’s home, armed with a weapon, threatened Nana and her mother, demanded money, causing injuries."Prosecutors claimed that the armed man broke into Nana's home for an attempted robbery. It was stated that he entered the residence, threatened Nana and her mother, and demanded money. He was however subdued by the mother-daughter, resulting in an attempted offense. The intruder claimed that Nana was the first to brandish a weapon during the incident.
Attacker denied all charges
The attorney of accused denied most of the charges. He said, "He entered the house thinking it was empty and only intended to steal. He had no intention of extorting anything. He did not possess a weapon and was unilaterally beaten.""The weapon is something the victim took from the house. I entered an empty house and attempted to steal something due to financial difficulties," the man added.The accused also requested the court to examine the fingerprints on the weapon. dropping charges pressed against singer/actress for injuring an intruder in her home. The next hearing is set for March 10.
