For those unaware, Rajinikanth and Mohan Babu share a long-standing friendship and have supported each other through many phases of their lives.Mohan Babu made his debut with the 1975 film Swargam Narakam, which also earned him his popular screen name. Born as Manchu Bhakthavatsalam Naidu, he went on to become one of Telugu cinema’s most respected actors.

His son, actor-producer Vishnu Manchu, marked the milestone by sharing a poster showcasing Mohan Babu’s iconic roles over the decades. Rajinikanth sends good wishes

A video from the MB50 event is now going viral, showing Rajinikanth on stage dressed in a white shirt and mundu, speaking lovingly about his close friend. In Telugu, he said, “I pray to God that you are always happy. There’s nothing else you need. All you need to do now is stay happy and take care of your health. You need nothing else.”
