She's
not yet four years old, but Malti Marie Jonas has made her first acting appearance in the holiday film, A Very Jonas Christmas Movie. The toddler appears with her parents, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, in a small role. Directed by Jessica Yu, the film features Kevin, Joe, and Nick, aka the Jonas Brothers, trying to make it home for Christmas. Besides Priyanka and Malti Marie, Kevin's wife, Danielle Jonas, also makes an appearance.
Malti Marie's first movie appearance in A Very Jonas Christmas Movie
Priyanka and Nick's little one has a special role in
A Very Jonas Christmas Movie as herself. The three-and-a-half-year-old appears twice in the family film. In the first half, she is seen in a FaceTime video with her mother, Priyanka, as her dad Nick promises to come home for Christmas. And finally, in the last scene of the movie, as the Jonas Brothers do get to come home, Nick is reunited with his family.
The scene has Priyanka present Nick with a special Christmas gift, Malti Marie herself. Nick scoops up the delighted little girl in his arms as the family embraces one another, and Nick gives Priyanka a kiss. Malti wears a black velvet dress with a silver headband in the scene.

New clip from A Very Jonas Christmas Movie
Priyanka also shared a new clip from A Very Jonas Christmas Movie on her Instagram page. She wrote, "I’m so ready for wick by Nick. A very Jonas Christmas indeed. Now streaming @disneyplus @hulu & @jiohotstar." In it, a harried Nick goes off on a rant about why he needs to spend Christmas with Priyanka and Malti Marie.
He says, "No one can miss Christmas. If you've seen a Christmas movie, it's literally the entire plot of the film. I'm supposed to teach Malti Marie how to ski. Do you know how cute a toddler trying to ski is? Very cute. I booked a fondue night. The whole night dedicated to fondue. Melted cheese, melted chocolate. Priyanka loves it, and I will not deny her that." His brother Joe offers him a calming chamomile candle from his line, Glow by Joe, which he turns down. Joe comments that Nick is jealous of his more successful candle line, to which he replies, "The world wasn't ready for Wick by Nick."
A Very Jonas Christmas Movie is now streaming on Disney+ internationally and in India on JioHotstar.
