Nivetha Thomas Threatens Legal Action Against AI Misuse: Unacceptable And Unlawful

Telugu actress Nivetha Thomas has recently expressed her disappointment after seeing her latest photo being misused with the use of AI on social media. She shared a hard-hitting note on X and termed the usage

of her image without consent ‘unacceptable’ and ‘unlawful’. She even threatened to take legal action against the miscreants.

Nivetha Thomas gets angry

Nivetha Thomas shared a beautiful picture of herself in a pastel cream-coloured saree. She completed her South Indian look with matching jewellery and gajra in the bun. The post went viral on social media, but some netizens misused it by using AI.

The Vakeel Saab actress got miffed with the AI-generated images of herself on social media. In the statement, Nivetha Thomas said, “It has come to my attention that AI-generated images misusing my identity and a recent photograph I shared on my social media are being circulated online. The creation and circulation of such content without consent is deeply disturbing, unacceptable, and unlawful. It constitutes digital impersonation and a serious invasion of my privacy.”
